Astrophotography provides a way to observe faint objects using small optics. This session shows how to identify those faint objects in astrophotos using various free tools such as Cartes Du Ciel, Microsoft WWT, NASA-IPAC Extragalactic Data, etc.
David Haworth has been involved with imaging and processing those images from his firs Cookbook CCD camera that he built himself. He has worked with many other cameras, both film and CCD for the past 12 years. David has had articles published in many magazines and his images has appeared in many books and magazines. He has been instrumental as one of the organizers for the "Astrophotography Conferences" and "Imaging the Sky Conferences".
